Frequently Asked Questions

Why does SSC reject my photo even if Windows says 20 KB?

A rounded file-size label can hide the actual bytes. This tool uses 20 KB = 20,000 bytes, while 20 KiB = 20,480 bytes. Check your current portal instructions: rejection can also be caused by the format, minimum size, dimensions or photo requirements.

Is my confidential ID photo safe on this website?

The selected image is decoded and compressed in your browser and is not uploaded by the compressor. The site still uses page analytics as described in the privacy policy.
